NSS Panjab University Organised ‘Fit India 2 Km Plog Run’ on Gandhi Jayanti
NSS Team of Panjab University, Chandigarh celebrated 151st Gandhi Jayanti by organising 2 Km Plog-Run at Panjab University Campus to pay homage to the Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October, 2020. The run commenced at 7am from the Student Centre to around 2 Kilometres in the PU campus.
NSS Programme Officers, Dr. Sucha Singh, Dr Gaurav Gaur, Dr Naveen, Dr Anuj, Dr Vivek, Dr Tilak and volunteers participated in the event.
The programme officers and volunteers ran and jogged as per their fitness level and picked up plastic waste from around the PU Campus. The main objective of the event was to promote the habit of fitness and cleanliness among PU residents.
