Chandigarh: Acting tough against the property tax defaulters, Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today ordered to issue notice to the Golf Club and Lake Club, Chandigarh.
Following the directions of Commissioner, the property tax department of MCC immediately issued notices to the Golf Club, sector 6, Chandigarh amounting to Rs. 5,46,19,604/- and Lake Club, Sector 5, Chandigarh amounting to Rs. 63,77,645/-. Both these clubs have been ordered to deposit the same before 31.07.2018 failing which attachment/sealing process be initiated as per law against the defaulters.
