Chandigarh, July 21:- Latika Sharma, MLA, Kalka (Haryana) today inaugurated Open Air gym in the green belt at sector 49 in presence of Sh. Davesh Moudgil, Mayor of Chandigarh and Smt. Heera Negi, area councillor and prominent persons & local residents of the area. During the programme the MLA, Mayor and area councillor planted saplings of different plants and shrubs in the green belt.
While informing about the open air gym, Smt. Heera Negi said that total cost of the open air gym in the green belt comes around Rs. 2.55 lacs including provision of latest equipments i.e. Push Chair, Sub Board Functions, Space Walker, Seated Pedal Trainer, Wab Board, Elliptical Cross Trainer, Parallel Bars, Taiji Wheel, Riding Trainer and Stepper.
Earlier, the MLA and Mayor honoured Smt. Jaswinder Kaur, Incharge, Police Station, Sector 49 for her meritorious works and helping hand towards the local residents.
