Jai Bagwan, Depot Holder has been caught red handed by State Vigilance Bureau, while accepting illegal gratification of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) on behalf of Ravi Kant, Inspector, Food & Supplies Department, Rohtak.

Chandigarh-sept 22-Jai Bagwan, Depot Holder has been caught red handed by State Vigilance Bureau, while accepting illegal gratification of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) on behalf of Ravi Kant, Inspector, Food & Supplies Department, Rohtak. A complaint was made by ShParamvir S/o. Sh. Jamadar, R/o Village Mokhra Kheri, Distt. Rohtak to State Vigilance Bureau (SVB) that Jai Bagwan, Depot Holder, is demanding Rs. 5,000/- on behalf of Ravi Kant Inspector by threatening him that if he does not fullfuill their demant his depot will be rechecked and cancelled.
The SVB team acted swiftly and apprehended Jai Bagwan, Depot Holder red handed & Inspector Ravi Kant, food & Suppy, Rohtak has also been arrested in the presence of Duty Magistrate Sh. Surender Singh, CTM, Rohtak.
In this regard a case FIR No. 08 dated 22.09.2020 u/s 7 PC Act & 384, IPC has been registered against him in the Police Station of State Vigilance Bureau, Rohtak. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
