Only hollow statements made by the Prime Minister in Mann Ki Baat – Selja
The condition laid by the Union Home Minister for interaction with the farmers shows that intention of the Central Government is flawed

President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee Kumari Selja has demanded the BJP-JJP government to immediately withdraw the FIR registered against more than ten thousand farmers in Haryana and asked the government to immediately release the arrested farmers. She has termed the points mentioned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mann Ki Baat about anti-agricultural laws, as hollow. She said that the condition laid by the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, for talks with the farmers, clear shows that the intention of BJP government at the center is not good.
In a statement issued here today, Kumari Selja said that government had earlier committed heavy atrocities on the farmers agitating against the agricultural laws, now FIR has been lodged against the same farmers. The BJP government at the center and the BJP-JJP government of the state are bent on completely crushing the farmers.
Kumari Selja said that only hollow statements have been made by the Prime Minister in the Mann Ki Baat. The Prime Minister Modi has only insulted the farmers in Mann Ki Baat. The Prime Minister Modi is only concerned about the interest of his capitalist friends. In order to benefit his friends, the Prime Minister has sacrificed the interests of farmers through black anti-agricultural laws.
Raising question on the conditions laid by the central government for negotiation with the farmers, Kumari Selja said that the intention of the BJP government at the Center was not clear from the very beginning. Now, placing a condition for talks with farmers by the Union Home Minister shows that it is not the intention of this government to listen to demands of farmers. The government can go to any extent through these black laws to benefit its capitalist friends, she added.
