Chandigarh: Spiritual & Social organization Manav Utthan Sewa Samiti (MUSS) organized a special free stationary distribution programme as a part of ongoing Mission Education for the needy students at various places nationwide and thus helped more than 50 thousand students with this initiative. The programme was organized at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sec 33 Chandigarh, where more than 100 students of the primary wing in the school given free notebooks and stationary material. With the inspiration of famous Social activist Sh. Satpal Ji Maharaj, Mission Education is helping the needy students since last three years and has helped approximate 3 lakh students to date with the stationary material. The representative of the organization M. Kartikeya Bai said that as an organization dedicated towards the spiritual & social reform in society, the event has been organized since last three years in various parts of the country. ‘The mission is run totally on a non-monetary basis and the students who belong to well-off families are inspired to donate the extra Pen, Pencil, Eraser and other study material in donation box put by the volunteers in their school. The material is re-packed and then is distributed among needy students’ said Deepti, a volunteer of Mission. The school representative Ms. Pooja Verma praised the organization for this initiative and said that not only the needy students receive the help but the initiative also inculcate the quality of helping the unknown among the students. Hence, as a result, we see a Nation building approach is being built, She added. Along with the teaching staff Pooja Verma, Hardeep Singh, Anju Mahajan from the School & M. Kartikeya Bai, Deepti, Tanvi, Arun Vohra, KK Khurana were also present in the event.
