Grand Tiranga Yatra Celebrated in Kajheri to Mark the Success of ‘Operation Sindoor’
Chandigarh, 22 May 2025 —
To mark the proud success of Operation Sindoor, a grand Tiranga Yatra (Tricolor March) was organized today by the Bharat Ratna Atal District, Chandigarh at Sector 52, Kajheri. The event was a tribute to the spirit of patriotism and dedicated to the brave sons of the nation.
The programme was presided over by Khushvinder Singh, President of Bharat Ratna Atal District. The chief guest for the occasion was Jitender Pal Malhotra, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Chandigarh.
Prominent attendees included:
Raj Kishore, Sanjeev Rana, Jasvir Singh Billu, Suresh Thakur, Heera Negi, Vijay Wali, Ranjod Jamwal, Ramesh Sahod, and Sanjeev Lakhanpal, among many other key office-bearers. All Mandal Presidents and district functionaries under the Bharat Ratna Atal District were also present in large numbers.
Through this Tiranga Yatra, the participants expressed their unwavering commitment to the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The event aimed to inspire patriotism among the youth and to honor the valor of the Indian armed forces.
The programme concluded with a collective pledge of national service and respect for the country’s dignity.
