To show their gratitude to the year gone by and to begin the coming year on a happy note, nearly twenty residents of Mata Gujri Hall (Girls Hostel no 1), Panjab University, Chandigarh who could not go home due to exams or other commitments pooled in money and gifted blankets to the cleaners employed in the hostel. The initiative was led by Manpreet, PhD research scholar of Guru Nanak Sikh Studies with Ruchika, postgraduate student of Department of Economics. “Happiness is only real when shared” they quoted.
