Coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, a drive was started in Sector 48 to install the indicator boards (name of Society with flat numbers) at various places by the Residents Welfare Association today. Sat Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General to Govt.of India & Ex Member Parliament inaugurated the drive. Davesh Moudgil, Ex Mayor and area councillor also graced the occasion. Moudgil stated that more facilities and development and welfare activities are being taken up for the residents of the sector. The installation of these boards will facilitate the visitors in locating the particular house number and the society in the sector, besides improving the beauty of the sector, said JJ Singh, RWA President.
At Excel cooperative society, they were welcomed by Rajnish Sharma, President, Sudhir Malhotra, vice President, RS Khokhar, Secretary, SK Dhawan, Joint secretary and Ganesh Chaudhary, Treasurer. The ongoing efforts made by Jain and Moudgil for the Sector and the residents of Chandigarh were appreciated.
