Diabetes Mega Health Check-up Camp held at Krishna Super Specialty Hospital Bathinda: Krishna Super Specialty Hospital, a unit of the Park Group of Hospitals, successfully conducted a Diabetes Mega Health Check-up Camp, reinforcing its commitment to community well-being and early detection of lifestyle-related diseases. The camp witnessed an exceptional response, with more than 1,200 people visiting the camp and over 400 individuals screened for various endocrinology and diabetes related health issues. Participants availed complimentary diagnostic services including HbA1c, blood glucose testing, BMI evaluation, FibroScan and more. The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony graced by several distinguished dignitaries. Among the prominent attendees were Padamjit Singh Mehta, Mayor of Bathinda; Jagroop Singh Gill, MLA (AAP) Bathinda; Rajan Garg, District President (Congress); Ashok Singhal, Director, Krishna Hospital; Ms. Kritie M. Pasrichaa, COO; Mr. Arjit Goyal, Director, Paris City; and Gurpreet Lehri, Bureau Chief, Dainik Jagran. Their presence added significance to the initiative and encouraged the healthcare teams involved. Dr. Sushil Kotru, Chairman, Endocrine & Diabetes Department, welcomed all guests and participants, expressing gratitude for their support in making the Diabetic Mela a remarkable success. He highlighted the vital importance of timely screening and regular monitoring in reducing diabetes-related risks and complications.
