Farewell Party 2025
A Farewell ceremony in any institution is a joyous and a memorable occasion where graduating students reflect on their achievements, cherish memories, and look forward to the future with hope and excitement. The department of Computer Science Applications and IT, DAV College, Chandigarh organized a Farewell party on 23rd April, 2025 to formally celebrate the achievements of the outgoing batch and wish them a future that shall be bright, filled with success, happiness, and fulfillment. The event was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and lessons for a great and a successful life.
The chief guest for the event, Prof Mona Narang, Principal, DAV College, Chandigarh wished the graduating students and motivated them to embrace the next chapter of their lives with enthusiasm and determination .She specified that the future is not something that just happens to you; it’s something that you create. She stressed that every individual has the power to shape their destiny, to turn dreams into reality, and to make a difference in the world.
The hallmark of the event was a ramp walk and self-introduction by each graduating student. Each outgoing students was welcomed on the ramp with loud cheer and thunderous applause. The other events included exuberant dance performances, fun games for the audience, Q&A session, a soulful rendition of memorable bollywood songs through a flute, Punjabi shayaris, videos of memories, and solo songs and dances. The meticulous planning and heartfelt effort behind each performance, put forward by the first and second year students, made the students of outgoing batch highly emotional. The students who exuded confidence and brought out their best during the ramp walk round were selected for the final round of the event. The event ended with crowning of Mr. and Miss Farewell along with other titles, who were selected on the basis of originality, confidence, styling and overall impression. The event ended with a motivating address by Dr.Mandeep K.Gill, head of the department, Computer Science Applications and IT. She asserted that she was highly proud of the achievements and accomplishments of the graduating students .She wished success to the outgoing students and expressed her desire to see them achieve great things in life.
