Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s behaviour indecent, condemnable and shameful: Devshali
Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh Vice President Shakti Prakash Devshali strongly condemned the scuffle done by Congress leader and Leader of Opposition (Lok Sabha) Rahul Gandhi yesterday and termed Rahul Gandhi’s behaviour as indecent, condemnable and shameful.
Devshali said that on one hand, the pushing and shoving done by Rahul Gandhi caused physical injury to Pratap Sarangi, MP from Balasore, Odisha and Mukesh Rajput, MP from Farrukhabad, while on the other hand, he also misbehaved with S. Phangnon Konyak, a woman MP from the Scheduled Tribe category from Nagaland.
He said that the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and other leaders of his party are going through a phase of mental distress due to continuous rejection by the public. The BJP government at the Centre is also exposing the misdeeds and wrong policies of the Congress leaders and their allies, due to which the Congress leaders are behaving like this out of frustration. Not only this, Rahul Gandhi is unable to digest the crushing defeat in the elections and being out of power for the third consecutive time and is demonstrating his frustration and disappointment through his behaviour.
Devshali said that the events that took place in the Parliament yesterday have proved that those who roam around with the Constitution book in their hands and take false oaths are misusing the powers given by the Constitution.
