The Badminton tournament was organized jointly by Rio Chandigarh, IAMBSS, Khel Bharti Chandigarh and SAPT India from 25 to 27 December at Zakir Hall of PGI Chandigarh under the Fit India Campaign run by the Government of India. The winners and participants of the program were honored by Padma Shri Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGI Chandigarh, Dr. Rakesh Malik, Deputy Director, Punjab University. Director PGI called upon the youth to stay fit and healthy.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. Baljinder Ji, Sports Incharge, PGI Chandigarh, Advocate Baljinder Singh Ji, Advocate, High Court. On the occasion, many youths participated enthusiastically. On this occasion Rising India Youth Organization (Rio), Chandigarh State Convenor and National President SAPT Mr. Anirudh Uniyal told that he is moving ahead with Hit India’s resolution from Fit Idea. Also, how the physical, mental and all-round development of the youth is the goal of this program.
Dr. Ujjwal, President IAMBSS, Convenor Khel Bharti, Jayant Ji Khel Bharti, Shri Shivam Sharma, General Secretary SAPT, etc. many distinguished people made their presence present at the program.
