Andhra Pradesh, J&K and Haryana won their Vinoo Mankad trophy fixture
Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh defeated Bihar by 38 runs in a Vinoo Mankad trophy league match played at the Cricket Stadium in Sector 16 on Wednesday. Recovering from 53/6, the team scored 220/9 with the help of a fine ton by KR Rushil (102) and a half-century by Yuvan (70). In reply, Bihar was all out for 180 runs wherein Vaibhav Suryavanshi (69) was the top scorer. Sai Shravan took four wickets from the opposition camp.
Meanwhile, in a one-sided match played at GMSS School Sector 26, Jammu and Kashmir registered an empathic victory of 191 runs over Manipur. J&K scored 316/8 with a century from Raj Khajuria (117). In reply, Manipur was all out for 191 runs. Raj Khajuria again shines with bowling and took four wickets.
In the other match of the day played at Mahajan Cricket Ground, Haryana registered a comfortable five-wicket win over Assam. Assam was all out for 147 runs. Haryana sealed victory at the loss of five wickets in the 42nd over.
