Chandigarh February 15, 2023
The Department of Environment Studies in collaboration with Department of Zoology, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized an interactive tour for the students of Government High School, Naya Gaon, SAS Nagar, Punjab. This tour was conducted under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan, Department of School Education and literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India for promoting Experiential learning. Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Y.K. Rawal and Professor Jagtej Kaur, Chairperson’s of respective Departments interacted with the students during the visit.
A total of 20 top students visited the Department of Environment Science, Vertebrate and invertebrate museums of Department of Zoology and Museum of fine arts at the Department of art history and visual arts. The group was led by their teacher Mrs. Anju Gupta and Mr. Feroz Ansari.
