A three day workshop on GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) began in Department of Geography under the aegis of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). Prof. Arun K. Saraf from IIT Roorkee delivered two lectures titled “GNSS errors and augmentations” and “GNSS Opportunities in India”. The workshop will cover various aspects of GNSS with main emphasis on field work. Main Programs for upcoming sessions are “GPS Data Collection”, “DGPS: Training Exercises” and “DGPS Data Processing”.
