Chandigarh.10 November,2020:As directed by Election Commission of India in their letter No.23/2020-ERS dated 7th August, 2020, a Special Summary Revision Program will be started from 16.11.2020. A meeting in this regard held under the Chairmanship of Worthy Chief Electoral Officer-cum-Principal Secretary Home, U.T., Chandigarh with the Political Parties, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-ERO, AEROs and other officers. In this meeting the political parties were briefed about the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll-2021 and requested to give full co-operation to enroll the left out residents as elector during the Revision of Electoral-2021. Political Parties were also requested to appoint Booth Level Assistant (BLA) and share their particulars to the Election Department, UT Chandigarh. Further, the Nodal Officer of SVEEP, UT Chandigarh was directed to publicize the Special Summary Revision-2021 through SVEEP Activities.
