Chandigarh, 29th October 2024: In a magnificent display of unity and patriotism, the City Beautiful witnessed students from various schools and colleges coming together for the “Run for Unity,” organized in honor of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

The event commenced with a Police Band welcoming the Chief Guest, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and Administrator U.T., Chandigarh. This was followed by a March Past by Chandigarh Police. Sh. Kataria led the Unity Pledge, where participants vowed to uphold the values of unity and diversity, echoing Sardar Patel’s vision for a harmonious India. The Administrator then flagged off the “Run for Unity,” celebrating the nation’s strength and cohesion.
