Verma appointed Advisor
Surinder Verma, Editor in Chief of Mirror 365.com and Chandigarhtoday.org, was appointed Advisor of Chandigarh, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh by Narinder Bhandari, National General Secretary, Working Journalist of India, during an online meeting held on May 9, where representatives of three states, Chandigarh, Punjab and HP, were present.
Surinder was working as PRO in the Food Corporation of India and after retirement, entered the field of journalism and started the newspapers Namaste Namaste and Readers Alert, and two magazines, Investors Update and Consumers Power, which were duly registered in RNI office at Delhi. After a while, he shifted from the print to social media and began two websites, and YouTube channels Mirror 365.com, registered in 2016, and Chandigarhtoday.org, registered in 2018, which got fantastic recognition. Surinder was appointed the National Deputy President of National Media Confederation (NMC) and National Vice President of Indian Federation Of Small and Media Newspapers (IFSMN) and Advisor, Rashtriya Patarkar Mahasangh (RPMS). He was honoured with many state and National awards.
Others present on the occasion were Dr Vinod Sharma, Convener, Chandigarh, and Veena Pathak, Convener, HP. Members and distinguished guests included Prem Vij, Praveen Kumar, Sushil Kumar, among others. The meeting was presided by Sanjay Upadhya and conducted by Sanjay Sexena.
