Congress rolls out its latest ‘Protest Package’ – ED action rattles party leaders: Sanjeev Rana
Following the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) prosecution complaint against Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Sam Pitroda in the National Herald money laundering case, Congress has once again gone into its favorite mode — ‘Protest Mode’. Today, Congress leaders staged a demonstration in Chandigarh, seemingly trying to suggest that being summoned by the law is proof of innocence.
BJP Chandigarh Media Incharge Sanjeev Rana termed the protest as a clear sign of Congress’s nervousness and public admission of guilt. “This is the same Congress that ran the country like a private club for decades. And now, when agencies are asking questions based on solid evidence, suddenly they’ve started worrying about democracy and the Constitution,” he said.
Rana remarked, “Congress’s behavior is now like that of a student caught cheating in an exam, claiming the teacher has a personal grudge. The real question is not why action is being taken — but whether corruption happened or not.”
Taking a jibe, he added, “Today’s protest in Chandigarh was a classic ‘It wasn’t me, it was him’ performance — much like a child claiming the power went out, the pen stopped working, or the dog ate the homework.”
Rana emphasized that the ED’s actions are rooted in legal procedures and concrete evidence. “This is not about emotions or public speeches — it’s about documented proof and financial transactions. Answers belong in courtrooms, not on loudspeakers and placards.”
He further stated that the BJP stands firmly on its zero-tolerance policy against corruption. “No matter how big the name, if someone has looted the nation’s wealth, they will be held accountable. The country is no longer willing to stay silent.”
Concluding, Sanjeev Rana urged the people of Chandigarh not to be misled by Congress’s political drama. “The law is doing its job, and those guilty will face the consequences. The mask is slipping, and the public is seeing the truth.”
