Children Day Celebrated at St. Anne’s Convent School

St Anne’s Convent School’s campus was abuzz with excitement as students gathered to celebrate Children’s Day with a series of joyful activities and a vibrant fete organized by the school administration. The event featured a delightful mix of games, food stalls, dance and other fun filled activities.
The celebration began with a special assembly where teachers dressed up like children conducted school prayer, thought of the day, Bible reading etc. They also presented a cultural program, funny news channel, and a group dance which won enthusiastic applause from the students who were surprised to see their teachers on stage.
Students were also apprised about the significance of Children’s Day, marking the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known for his affection toward children.
The highlight of the day was school fete which offered various games like Touch me not, Hit the Rat, Spinning wheel, The hammer ball, Marble game, Burn the candles etc. Food stalls offered a variety of treats including Noodles, Pavbhaji, Burger, Pizza, Bhelpuri,Tikki Chat and golgappa, Dosa, Idli, Icecreams etc. The day became memorable as children were beaming with the fun and laughter.
