Indresh Upadhyay Ji Maharaj inspired audience with his thought-provoking words

Singer B Praak’s soulful voice filled the air with devotion

Chandigarh, October 9
Renowned international motivational speaker Indresh Upadhyay Ji Maharaj inspired a packed audience at Panjab University’s law auditorium with his thought-provoking words, as the crowd resonated with chants of “Radhe Radhe.”

The event, part of the Vrindavan Yuva Utsav festival organized by ‘Bhaktipath’ and Pranay Media, featured celebrated singer B Praak as a special guest, whose soulful voice filled the air with devotion and enthusiasm.

Indresh Ji shared his insights on “Learn from the land of Vrindavan,” drawing from the Gita to guide the predominantly young audience. He then opened the floor for questions, addressing concerns on coping with loss and eroding values.

When a woman sought guidance on overcoming the pain of losing her parents, Maharaj Ji emphasized acceptance of life’s natural cycle and recommended reading paath for solace.

A worried teacher from DAV College, Sector 10, asked him that in today’s time values are eroding and students are losing respect towards their teacher. To this, Maharaj ji told her the situation will become worse in future.

“Compared to abroad, India’s situation is better. However, this can change if we neglect our cultural heritage. Engaging with scriptures (paath/katha) instills positive values in students. I urge teachers to lead by example and prioritize paath. By doing so, we can develop Krishna-like resilience, impervious to negativity,” he added.

The event started with fascinating Manipuri dance, which was based on Radha-Krishan, and was performed by DAV College, Sector 10, students. After this, soulful bhajan was performed by another group from DAV.

Sanjeev Rana, Convener of Pranay Media, saw this event as a chance to reconnect youth with spiritual and cultural values. He invited young people to participate in the cultural and devotional program, become part of the spiritual journey, and enjoy cultural programs, Bhakti Raas, and special food stalls.

Prominent people from the campus and outside also participated in the event.

Organising committee member Rachit Jain, BJP President Jatinder Pal Malhotra, Panjab University (DSW) Amit Chauhan, HAFED Chief General Manager Rajnish Sharma, NSS Chandigarh coordinator Nemi Chand were among those present.
