The inauguration of the newly established Community Centre in Sector 45, Chandigarh done today by Smt.Kirron Kher, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, U.T., Chandigarh in the presence of Sh.Anup Gupta, Mayor, Sh.Kanwarjit Rana, Senior Deputy Mayor, Sh.C.B.Ojha, Chief Engineer, U.T., Sh.Gurpreet Singh, Area Councillor and other Councillors & Officers of Engineering Deptt. & Deptt. of Urban Planning, U.T., Chandigarh.
The details about the construction are impressive. The Community Centre, spanning a covered area of 14574 sq. ft., is a 2-storey building that cost Rs. 4.22 Crores to build by the Engineering Deptt, U.T., Chandigarh. The facility is well-equipped with various amenities to serve the community. The Ground Floor includes facilities such as Washing, Pantry, Kitchen, Hall, Ramp, Stair, Lift, Store, Caretaker room, Gents Toilet, Ladies toilet, disabled-friendly toilet, Senior Citizen Room, bridal room, etc. The first floor boasts a Library, Office, Bride Groom room, Gents and Ladies toilets, Gymnasium/Indoor Game, Dormitory Store, Lift, Stair, terrace, etc.
This Community Centre not only caters to the diverse needs of the community but also provides a space for various activities and events.
