NCC cadets donate 84 units of blood
Great enthusiasm observed among youth for blood donation
The NCC cadets of 2nd Chandigarh Battalion NCC celebrated the World Blood Donation Day by donating 84 units of blood today at Government Medical College & Hospital at Sector 16 . Commanding Officer of NCC Colonel Paramjeet highlighted the services of NCC in the interest as well as the protection of citizens and their training. Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor Punjab and Administrator appreciated the services of the NCC cadets towards the community.He also appreciated the efforts to instill the spirit of discipline and patriotism in the people by NCC Cadets . The medical units of both the hospitals , GMCH -32 & sector 16 expressed their gratitude for this noble cause by NCC cadets for social service .
