Mehar Chand Mahajan, Boys Hostel Number 1 along with Boys Hostel Number 2 & 3 and Girls Hostel Number 1 & 2 Panjab University, Chandigarh jointly organised a webinar on the occasion of National Science Day, today 28th February 2022.
On this occasion Dr. Rajeev Kumar said that theme of the National Science Day, 2022 is ” Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future” and one of the ways to bring sustainability is to increase scientific interaction across borders at the International level. With this objective, the guest speaker for the day was Dr. Ajeet Kaushik from Florida Polytechnic University, Florida, USA who delivered an interactive talk on the theme “Scientists Beyond boundaries”.
Dr. Ajeet in his talk highlighted how the interdepartmental, interinstitutional and international collaborations help to do better science with exceptional deliverables for the benefit of the society.
DSWs viz. Prof. Jagtar Singh and Prof. Ashok Kumar also shared their views on this occasion. More than 110 participants including wardens, faculty form colleges, hostel residents and students were part of this webinar.
