Pracheen Kala Kendra 4th Gurmat Sangeet Baithak with live limited audience

Chandigarh sunita shastri:4th Gurmat Sangeet baithak was organized by the Pracheen Kala Kendra at the M.L. Koser Indoor Auditorium here today with selective live audience. Programe was also telecasted live on social media platforms of Kendra like YouTube, face book and twitter from the stage. The programe featured young and talented BIba Ashupreet Kaur with her group of young artists. They presented melodic Kirtan according to the ancient maryada of Gurmat Sangeet.Only very limited and special audience was present in this program as limited audience was invited under the rules of COVID 19 Rules like entry with mask , proper social distancing and sanitization were followed especially during the programme . Many great personalities from the field of Gurmat Sangeet graced the occasion The program was conducted by Mr. Malkit Singh Jandiala , Head of the Department of Gurmat Sangeet , Pracheen Kala Kendra. Gurmat music baithak will be held on the first Saturday of every month. Gurmat Sangeet Baithak was presented by Bhai Avtar Singh ji. He begin with Rag Shree (the first raag of Shri Guru Granth Sahib), based on shabad with bols “Rang Rata mera Sahib “, Later in the raga kalian the shabad “Prabh ki jai kirpa nidhan”. She Also presented a melodic shabad based on Raga Sarath with bols “ Madhave tum na toro to hum nahi torah” followed by rag Bihag based compostion “Ati pritam manmohana”. Her concluding Basant rag based shabad” Dekh Phool ,Phool Phule” amdist applause. The co-artists of the evening with Ashupreet are Anupreet Kaur , Pooja preet Kaur and Tilak Raj Singh on Tabla. The artists were honored with bouquet and mementos .
