Chandigarh,sunitashastri: NITTTR, Chandigarh organised the 8th Annual Alumni Meet.Dr. Poonam Syal welcomed all the dignitaries and alumni of the institute. Dr.S.S. Pattnaik, Director, NITTTR, Chandigarh presided over the meet which was attended by around 80 alumni, faculty,and staff of the institute.He highlighted the importance of alumni contribution for development of the institute. The Chief Guest of the event was Sh. K.K. Kataria, Director, Department of Technical Education, Haryana.In his address on the occasion,he shared his experiences as NITTTR, Alumni and appreciated the improvement in the various facets of the institute activities. All the Alumni shared the opportunities for collaborative activities that their organizations would like to undertake in collaboration with NITTTR, Chandigarh. Alumni placed overseas with reputed international organizations and some alumni pursuing their higher studies in different Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) also participated and deliberated through videoconferencing mode upon the avenues for collaborative work that may be undertaken in near future with NITTTR, Chandigarh. Several alumni who are presently working at senior positions in CSIO, Chandigarh also took part in the Alumni meet.
