Haryana Police Academy and Rashtriya Raksha University(RRU) Sign MoU for Enhanced Training and Capacity Building
Chandigarh, November 24 – In a significant step towards strengthening the training and capacity building of Haryana Police personnel, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Haryana Police Academy (HPA) and Rashtriya Raksha University Gujarat today at the HPA campus in Madhuban. The MoU will facilitate collaboration and resource sharing between the two institutions, paving the way for enhanced expertise and capabilities within the Haryana Police force.
– Key Highlights of the MoU
The MoU aims to foster cooperation and resource sharing in the areas of education, research, extension, and training programs for mutual benefit. Jointly designed educational programs will focus on upgrading the skills and training of police personnel, promoting innovation, and encouraging security-related research.
The MoU will enable the introduction of online education through RRU’s various institutions, leveraging their expertise in this domain.
On behalf of Haryana Police, Dr CS Rao, Chairman of the Drafting Committee and Director of Haryana Police Academy, Inspector General Administration Sanjay Kumar from Haryana Police Headquarters and Arvind Hooda, Deputy Director of FSL, Madhuban signed the MoU while on behalf of Rashtriya Raksha University, It was signed by Registrar Dr. Shishir Kumar Gupta, Director Commodore Manoj Bhatt (retd) and Nodal Officer Raghunathan. The draft of the MoU was approved by the Government of Haryana.
