2nd Para Chandigarh State Yogasan Sports Championship 2025 Successfully Organized
The 2nd Para Chandigarh State Yogasan Sports Championship 2025 was successfully organized by Yogasan Association Chandigarh in collaboration with Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRIID), Sector-31, Chandigarh. The championship was held under the guidance of Yogasana Bharat in various categories such as hearing impaired, visually impaired, and physically handicapped.
Chief Guest and Special Guests
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. M.S. Kamboj, President of Yogasana Association Chandigarh, as the Chief Guest. The event also featured captivating yoga performances by students of GRIID and specific young yoginis.
Participation and Winners
Around 80 Para Yogasana athletes from various institutions participated in the championship. The winners were awarded medals in the concluding ceremony, which was attended by Dr. Ajeet Sidana, Joint Director (GRIID), and Dr. Mahender Singh, Joint Director (Sports Department-Chandigarh), as the Chief and Special Guests.

– Orthopaedicly Handicapped-B Category Above-20 (Male): 1. Mukesh Kumar
Representation in National Championship
The medal winners will represent Chandigarh in the upcoming Para National Yogasan Sports Championship 2025-26 in New Delhi.
