Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone of Sports Stadium to be constructed over nine acres and a Community Centre to be built over 3.25 acres in Barwala, district Hisar.
The Chief Minister said that in Ward No 2 at Sarhera Road, Barwala a Community Center would be constructed at a cost of over Rs. three crore which would be completed within nine months. It would include parking area for vehicles, separate toilets for males, females and disabled persons. It would facilitate the local people of the area in organising their community programs, he said.
Similarly, a Sports Stadium in 9 acres land would be constructed at a cost of Rs. One crore which would be completed in next 6 months. The Stadium would include the grounds for Kho-Kho, Volleyball and basket ball etc. This stadium would be the first of its kind in Barwala with sitting space for the viewers, parking and the toilets. It would also have multi-purpose hall for the players, he added.
